Regenerative Therapies are non-drug, cutting-edge therapies that promote the regeneration of healthy joints, muscle, hormone balance, and energy. When you restore healthy tissues, you slow down the aging process and improve vitality. Explore your options!
Diet is the foundation to all our therapies: At the Center for Traditional Medicine, we know first hand that the first medicine is food. Without proper diet, all healing is an uphill battle. With a nutritious and condition-specific diet, the door to health is open.
Prolotherapy
A key therapy to regenerate healthy joint tissues, such as cartilage, tendons and ligaments. The end result is improved range of motion and mobility. Used with virtually all musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunctions, including foot, ankle, knee pain, hip, low back pain, elbow pain, shoulder pain, neck pain and TMJ dysfunction.
Platelet Rich Plasma – PRP
Autologous PRP is made from a natural component of each patient’s own blood and has been used for decades to aid in the quicker recovery following certain surgical and cosmetic procedures. The main components of this solution are platelets, tissue growth factors, mesenchymal stem cells, and fibrin matrix. Because it is so concentrated, PRP acts as a potent tissue growth stimulant, turning on the natural process of tissue repair and healing. Studies show that PRP causes the production of new collagen and cartilage at the site of the injection, which can resurface the joint and strengthen injured ligaments and tendons. The new collagen is naturally incorporated directly into your existing ligaments, making them stronger and more elastic. Cartilage growth is promoted on joint surfaces.
Trigger Point Therapy
Relieves acute muscle spasms and tenderness. Used with tension and migraine headaches, back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain.
Neural-Fascial Therapy
Neural-Fascial injections restore the nerves natural delivery of neural-peptides to injured tissue. Used with acute and chronic conditions, such as acute pain, causalgia, neuropathy and chronic neuralgia, Neural-fascial injections restore function in the unmyelinated nerves which regulate healing and repair. Without proper delivery of neural-peptides, tissue repair is inhibited and chronic pain and dysfunction result.
Natural Hormone Therapy
Use the most up-to-date lab tests to diagnose specific hormone imbalances, including testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, thryoid, and adrenal hormones. Many non-toxic therapies are available to restore healthy hormone balance. Conditions: andropause, menopause, PMS, chronic fatigue, burnout, insomnia, depression, anxiety, and weight gain.
Nutritive Intravenous Therapy
High potency formulations to quickly restore vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Conditions: chronic and acute illnesses, stress, strenuous physical activities, and toxic chemical exposures.
Chelation Therapy
A key therapy to remove heavy metal toxicity, such as mercury, lead and cadmium. Heavy metal toxicity is suspected with chronic fatigue, frequent illnesses, neurological disorders, depression, high blood pressure and heart disease. Conditions: heavy metal toxicity.

Therapeutic Laser
Also known as Low Level Light Therapy, it is a completely painless and non-invasive method for treating a variety of conditions where there is pain and inflammation. When these specific frequencies of laser light are absorbed by the body, it stimulates blood flow to the area being treated and increases the energy production of those cells. In technical terms, a photoreduction of Cytochrome c oxidase takes place, thereby increasing the cell’s ability to produce ATP. Laser therapy literally energizes the cells, speeding up the body’s own healing process.
We use the top-of-the-line Irradia class 3b laser. (consider link: http://www.irradia.us/about-us-2/)
Therapeutic laser may be used to treat a number of musculoskeletal conditions, such as pain or stiffness of any muscles or joints; can be used to help accelerate healing of soft tissue after surgery or injuries; and promotes drainage of sinuses to alleviate sinus pressure and prevent infection. Laser is contraindicated in instances where there is sensitivity to light, either from medications or due to a medical condition. Laser therapy will not work if you are currently undergoing corticosteroid therapy.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the practice of stimulating specific, strategic points in the body to improve health and well being. It is a technique used to balance the flow of energy throughout the body, thereby enabling the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Having originated in China over 2,000 years ago, it is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Acupuncture, as part of Traditional Chinese medicine, has maintained its relevancy throughout hundreds of years and its effectiveness has been proven in numerous modern scientific research studies. Acupuncture can treat or help manage and alleviate the symptoms from almost any health condition, from colds to cancer.
