Referring Patients for Regenerative Therapy
We want to be a trusted and efficient part of your team by providing therapeutic services that compliment and strengthen the mutual respect and satisfaction between you and your clients. Tendon, ligament and joint injuries are notoriously difficult to heal with conventional medical methods. All too often, patients become dependent on pain and anti-inflammatory drugs. At the same time they gradually lose mobility and function, and become dependent on so-called palliative care. Chronic pain management often leads to a downward spiral of functionality. For these clients, early intervention with regenerative therapies can significantly enhance the quality of their lives.
When you refer a patient to us for regenerative therapies, we promise to provide them with the best care available to support and continue the care you have already begun. We will not duplicate your services or provide treatment that could better be provided by you, the referring physician. Patients will be referred back to you for manipulative care as needed to support recovery. We will provide a summary explanation of the procedures needed to return your patient to full, pain free function, and consult with you as needed throughout the therapeutic process.
Regenerative therapies are often not insurance reimbursable. This means that most of our patients must finance the treatments themselves. We require payment at the time of service and provide our clients with the proper forms for submission to their carrier. Regenerative therapy requires a commitment from our patients to heal. In the case of personal injury claims, many of our clients come to us seeking relief of their injuries after they have exhausted their benefits. Often the client is best served by settling with their carrier prior to beginning treatment. We can provide clients with estimates of the duration and cost of our services needed to resolve their injuries.
